Welcome to Track 3 Fifth Grade
We are so excited for the 2019-2020 school year! On Track Three we are departmentalized which means that Ms. Trainor will be teaching Math, Science, and Social Studies; while Miss Sullivan will be teaching Reading. We enjoy teaching this way because it benefits the students to have a teacher who is focused on specific subjects and we have the pleasure of teaching all of the students on Track Three.

Miss Sullivan:
I am Miss Sullivan, and this is my third year at Olive Chapel. This is my third year as a teacher here but, I graduated Fifth Grade from OCE. I attended second-fifth grade at OCE and it is so much fun to be back as a teacher this time. I graduated from Meredith College in May of 2017 with a degree in Child Development and a K-6 Teaching License. Meredith College holds a huge place in my heart, and I love to go back and visit for special events. I have loved every second of being a teacher, and I am so excited about what this year is going to bring. Some of my favorite things are coffee (I couldn't keep up with all of you without it), spending time with my friends and family, and cheering for The Wolfpack or the New York Jets during football season! I cannot wait to get to know you all this school year!
Ms. Trainor:
Welcome to our 5th Grade Track 3 website! I'm so happy to be back aboard the OCE Clipper Ship this school year! This will be my seventh year teaching and fourteenth year in Education. I have my Masters in Teaching Elementary Education and Bachelors in Communications. I have a son and daughter both in WCPSS and I love being a part of the Apex community. When I'm not at school, you might catch me out and about.... I love going to bookstores and out to see movies and watching my kids play sports. I also love spending time at the beach! I was born to teach, so it brings me great joy to spend 180 days with your sons and daughters. Miss Sullivan and I make a great team, so I know that it will be smooth sailing this school year!
