Throughout this school year our classes will switch by an assigned block. When the students are with Miss Sullivan they will be in their Reading block. During this time the students will focus on fiction and nonfiction reading instruction as well as writing. With Ms. Trainor they will focus on Math instruction for the first portion of the block and then Science/ Social Studies as the second portion the block. Science and Social Studies instruction will change after one unit is completed which will divide each quarter in half.

Students have a different special each day and the special schedule is posted in the classroom for the students as well as in our weekly newsletter. On Monday's the student report directly to specials and will be with the specialist from the start of the school day until 10 am while the Fifth Grade team is in our planning meeting.
